CHICAGO (CBS)– Lake effect snow lingers after a winter storm brought over 5 inches in some areas.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. for central to southern Cook County.

Lake effect snow Wednesday morning will bring some additional accumulation from central Cook County to Lake County, IN.

Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s today and Thursday, but temperatures begin to rebound to the 30s going into the weekend.
