Girl, 15, Shot And Wounded In Humboldt Park

CHICAGO (CBS) — A 15-year-old girl was shot and wounded Wednesday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

At 12:13 p.m., the girl was on the sidewalk in the 3600 block of West Division Street when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot at her, police said.

The victim was shot in the right leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in good condition, police said.

Area Four detectives were investigating late Wednesday.
