Man Shot Dead In Vehicle In Avalon Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed Sunday evening in the Avalon Park neighborhood.
At 7:25 p.m., the 51-year-old man was in a vehicle in the 1600 block of East 83rd Street when he heard shots and felt pain.
He had been shot in the head and he was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
No one was in custody Sunday night. Area Two detectives were investigating.
