CHICAGO (CBS)– A man who died after a hit-and-run crash in North Lawndale early Tuesday morning also suffered a gunshot wound to his head, according to police.
The man, who was between 25 and 35 years old, was struck by a vehicle in the 3700 block of West Douglas Boulevard around 3:40 a.m. The driver fled the scene.
