Woman Shot In Hand In Broad Daylight In Irving Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was shot in the hand in broad daylight Tuesday in the Irving Park neighborhood.
At noon, the 30-year-old woman was near the sidewalk in the 4000 block of North Kimball Avenue, near Irving Park Road, when two men came up, took out a gun, and fired shots, police said.
The woman was shot in the hand and found her own way to Swedish Hospital, where she was reported in good condition.
No one was in custody late Tuesday afternoon. Area Five detectives were investigating.
