Woman Attacked On Blue Line Train At Oak Park Station; 1 Man In Custody

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A woman was attacked on the Blue Line train early Thursday at the Oak Park station.

According to Oak Park police, officers responded to a report of battery on a westbound Blue Line train stopped at the Oak Park Avenue station around 2:10 a.m.

Police took a 26-year-old man into custody after the incident moved from the train car to the platform.

The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center for treatment. Police said the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
