Virtual Center For Mental Health, Substance Abuse Expanding Resources In Cook County
CHICAGO (CBS)-- More help is now available for people struggling with mental health and substance abuse in Cook County.
In the last hour, Sheriff Tom Dart announced the Community Resource Center is expanding to the public. Previously, it was a resource for those who had just been released from jail.
The Community Resource Center also helps with housing, jobs, education and even getting a COVID vaccine.
Right now the program is virtual and Dart hopes to open a physical location.
