14-Year-Old Fatally Shot In West Garfield Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 14-year-old boy has died after he was shot in the abdomen in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood, police confirm.
The shooting happened around 9:30 Saturday night near Madison Street and Springfield Avenue.
The boy was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died. He was identified as Eddie Thigpen.
Police said by the time someone found him he was unable to say what happened. They are now looking for the shooter.
