Father Larry Sullivan Reinstated As Pastor Of Christ The King Parish In Beverly

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Father Larry Sullivan has been reinstated by Cardinal Blase Cupich as the pastor of Christ the King Parish in Beverly.

Father Sullivan was removed from pastoral duties last month, after an allegation of sexual misconduct when he was 18, prior to entering the seminary.

The Archdiocese says a full investigation was done and after multiple unsuccessful attempts to obtain information from the accuser, they cannot substantiate the claim.
