15-Year-Old Boy Shot And Killed While Standing On Lawndale Porch
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old boy is dead after he was shot in the head in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood Friday night.
According to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, Dajon Gater was on the front porch of a home in the 3900 block of West Lexington around 11:50 p.m. when two people approached him, pulled out guns and started shooting.
He was rushed to the Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition but died a few hours later.
Detectives are trying to find out who killed him.
