Crash Caused Northbound I-57 Lanes To Be Shut Down
CHICAGO (CBS) -- All northbound lanes of I-57 were shut down near mile post 325 Sunday morning after a crash involving two vehicles. Lanes were reopened by noon, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP said traffic was being diverted off the interstate to the Manteno exit after the crash, which took place at 5:12 a.m.
Serious injuries were reported.
Lanes were expected to be closed for several hours.
