Car Plows Into Apartment In Unincorporated Des Plaines, Just Feet From Residents On Couch
DES PLAINES, Ill. (CBS) -- A northwest suburban family was safe Thursday night after a car came barreling into their living room.
The family was sitting on the sofa in the building at 8995 Kennedy Dr. in unincorporated Des Plaines when the car slammed through their apartment late Thursday afternoon.
The car made impact just feet from where the mother, father, and daughter were sitting.
The driver was not seriously hurt, and investigators found no structural damage to the building.
