CHICAGO (CBS) — The Englewood home where a mass shooting that left four dead and four more wounded Tuesday morning is owned by a Chicago police officer.

Cook County property records show the home at 6221 South Morgan was purchased by Enrique Badillo in 2014.

Last year Badillo received a housing complaint alleging he allowed illegal activity in the building.

A Chicago police spokesperson said Friday that Badillo was relieved of his police powers pending the outcome of an investigation.
