R. Kelly's Lawyers Request Delay Ahead Of New York City Trial

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Just weeks before his racketeering trial is set to begin in New York City, R. Kelly's new lawyers are asking for another delay.

In a letter Monday, Kelly's attorneys said they have not been able to meet with the singer because he is under a 14-day quarantine after being transferred from Chicago, and lawyers argue they were hired just two weeks ago.

Kelly's sex abuse trial in Chicago is scheduled for September.
