Kofi Cockburn Withdraws From NBA Draft, Not Certain If He Will Return To Illini
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Kofi Cockburn has withdrawn from the NBA Draft, but will he be back with the Illini?
The second-team All-American told ESPN his main goal is to improve his draft stock.
Cockburn is in the transfer portal and said he there is a possibility he could return to Illinois, but among the options he's considering is Kentucky, where two former Illini assistants are now coaching.
The Illini got the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament this year, but went on to lose to the Loyola Ramblers.
