Dog Rescued From Water In Belmont Harbor

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A dog was recused from Lake Michigan at Belmont Harbor Monday.

Police said the dog was stranded on a pipe when emergency responders were called around 6 a.m. Police said the dog was likely missing since 3 a.m., when a call came in for a lost dog in the area.

The dog was rescued and reunited with its owner.

The woman who called police said she is glad the dog made it home.
