CHICAGO (CBS) — Information about COVID-19 vaccines was made available in Back of the Yards Sunday alongside fresh produce and handmade candles.

Health officials set up shop at the neighborhood farmers market Saturday to encourage more people to get the shot.

Volunteers will be back next week giving out the shots.

While a little more than 50 percent of Chicago is fully vaccinated, that figure is only about 44 percent among Back of the Yards resdients.
