Firefighters Rescue Swimmer In Distress In Lake Michigan Off 57th Drive; 2 Others Rescued After They Jump In To Help
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Firefighters found themselves waist deep on the waters of Lake Michigan Thursday evening, searching for a swimmer in distress.
The swimmer was off 57th Drive in Hyde Park, near the Museum of Science and Industry.
We are told two other people jumped in trying to help – and they too needed to be rescued.
The latest report indicated that everyone made it out without serious injuries.
