Woman Struck, Critically Wounded By Stray Bullet In Bedroom In Hermosa Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 21-year-old woman was critically wounded Sunday night when she was a bullet came through a wall in her bedroom in the Hermosa neighborhood and struck her.
At 9:56 p.m., the woman was in her second-floor bedroom in the 2100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue when the bullet came through the wall and hit her in the neck.
The woman was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.
No one was in custody Sunday night. Area Five detectives were investigating.
