CHICAGO (CBS)– Another hot and story day is ahead.

Wednesday’s temperatures are going to be near 92 degrees with a heat index over 100 degrees.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for areas south of I-80, which includes LaSalle, Grundy, Will and Kankakee counties as well as Northwest Indiana.

Storms are possible in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be gusty.

The heat continues into the weekend. Temperatures cool down early next week.
