Girl, 17, Shot In Face In Broad Daylight In Fernwood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 17-year-old girl was shot in the face in broad daylight Sunday in the Fernwood neighborhood.
At 12:02 p.m., the girl was in front of a home in the 10100 block of South LaSalle Street when someone fired shots from a vehicle.
The girl was struck in the facial area and was in good condition upon being taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
No one was in custody Sunday afternoon. Area Two detectives are investigating.
