CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot while driving in the Loop late Saturday night, causing him to lose control and strike a light pole.

Authorities said a 28-year-old man was shot in the foot in the 500 block of South Wabash Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. and was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County where he was listed in good condition.

The victim said the shooter was wearing a white hoodie and was driving a white vehicle.

Nobody is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
