Woman Carjacked At Gunpoint Near North And Washtenaw Avenues
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was carjacked Tuesday on the cusp of Logan Square and Humboldt Park.
At 5 p.m., the 26-year-old woman was standing near a Hyundai in the 1600 block of North Washtenaw Avenue, just north of North Avenue, when two people came up. One of them pulled a handgun and demanded the keys to the car, police said.
The victim complied, police said. No one was in custody late Tuesday.
Area Five detectives were investigating.
