Man Assaults Woman, Sets 7-Eleven On Fire In The Loop
CHICAGO (CBS) – Police are investigating a fire set inside a 7-Eleven convenience store in the Loop this weekend.
Around 5:50 a.m. Saturday, an unknown man verbally assaulted a woman who worked at the store in the 0-99 block of East Madison Street before setting the store on fire.
Two victims including the clerk and another unknown person were taken to Northwestern Hospital for smoke inhalation. Both were reported in good condition/
No one is in custody. Area Three detectives were investigating.
