Metra Milwaukee District West Trains Halted Due To Switch Problem

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Trains on the Metra Milwaukee District West line were halted during the afternoon rush Tuesday.

Inbound and outbound trains were both halted near the Western Avenue station, near Western Avenue and Kinzie Street, due to a switch problem.

The expected duration of the delay was not known late Tuesday. It was not immediately learned whether the extreme cold weather played a role.
