Aurora Honors Juneteenth As A Paid Holiday For City Workers

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Starting this year, June 19 will be a paid holiday for city staff.

It's the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas with news that the Civil War was over and slavery had been abolished two years before.
