Eric is an Aurora native who joined CBS 2 News in March 2019.

He returns home after working at KMOV 4, the CBS News affiliate in St. Louis.

While there, he anchored the weekend newscasts, provided award-winning breaking news coverage of police protests and dodged all attempts to convert into a Cardinals fan.

Prior to St. Louis, Eric spent 2 years in Indianapolis, reporting on the trail as now-President Donald Trump was campaigning to become the Republican Presidential nominee and selected then-Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate.

Eric graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2013 (I-L-L!).

In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, improving his abysmal cooking skills and mentoring at-risk teenagers.

Eric’s truly excited to be back home and to have an opportunity to tell impactful stories that help promote positive change in and around Chicago.
