In 2005, the Beer Bistro opened because they truly love "food, people and beer." They pride themselves on being a bar with a fun attitude. Located in Lakeview, Finley Dunne's is an official Blackhawks bar. Famous for their "Ryan Burger," the tavern was named after a Chicago Evening Post columnist Finley Peter Dunne who created a fictional bartender named Mr. Dooley as a vehicle for his political and social satire. Enjoy the 17 beers on tap and over 35 more in bottles. As an official Blackhawks bar, they serve on game days Ketel One, Captain Morgan, Jack Daniels, and Fireball drink specials. They also have Bud Light specials.

Open since 1984, they sport an attitude and tout themselves as being a true bar before all those other bars opened around the Southport neighborhood. Come here to watch hockey, as they are also an official Blackhawks bar. Saturday is Hockey Night and their drink special is Effen "Don" Cherry Drinks for $5.
