In 2005, the Beer Bistro opened because they truly love "food, people and beer." They pride themselves on being a bar with a fun attitude. Almost every night of the week they have some sort of special going on whether it's Sunday's 25-cent wings or $5 Thursday martinis. As an official Blackhawks bar, it's a good place to come watch the game, eat and drink good beer. Choose from 20 beers on tap, 114 in bottles, or 38 different kinds in cans.

Open since 1984, they sport an attitude and tout themselves as being a true bar before all those other bars opened around the Southport neighborhood. Come here to watch hockey, as they are also an official Blackhawks bar. Saturday is Hockey Night and their drink special is Effen "Don" Cherry Drinks for $5. Their stuffed onion rings, yes stuffed, are a signature dish. Justin also asks that you all leave your drama at the door.
