Tax day is upon us! To celebrate all your hard work and number crunching, Chicago restaurants, hotels and bars are serving up some tax relief specials!
Here’s a round up of a few deals around town to reward you for another tax year.
Tax day is April 15, 2013.
Michael Jordan’s Steak House
505 N. Michigan Avenue
Michael Jordan’s Steak House will offer taxpayers $5 garlic bread, sliders and flatbreads. To wash it down, they’ll be featuring, $5 Metropolitan Krankshaft beer, $6 wine and sangria and a $7 Ploach. Enjoy super fans!

“No Taxation Without Libations” package at Kimpton’s Hotel Allegro in Chicago: This downtown boutique hotel understands that taxes can be stressful, which is why they’re encouraging guests to kick back with cocktails at Encore Liquid Lounge after filing. This package is also a great find for early summer traveling in Chicago.
The package includes:
• Overnight stay in deluxe accommodations
• Two cocktails and an appetizer for only $10.40 at the adjacent Encore Liquid Lounge (a $40 value)

This loop hot spot is giving taxpayers some great deals. From 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., no tax will charged to guests on Monday, April 15. As an added bonus, all cocktails will be half-priced.
Cactus Bar & Grill
404 South Wells
As their restaurant saying goes, “Don’t drink and trade”- Cactus is encouraging a drink after you tax! From 11 a.m. – 12 a.m., no tax will charged to patrons on Monday, April 15. Tax day specials include; $1 burger sliders and $4 craft beer bottles.
Timothy O’Toole’s Pub
622 N. Fairbanks Court
From 11 a.m. – 3 a.m., no tax will be charged to guests on Monday, April 15. The Streeterville hang out is offering $10 pitchers of Miller Lite or Coors Light and $5 Margaritas. All 3 options should help ease the stress of another long tax season.
