THE DEFENSE

Q: Great Dodge Charger. Have you had it long? Why did you pick it?

A: I've had it for about three years. I first had a truck. It was a Dodge Durango. I had that car for about a month and I loved it. One day my husband was coming home. He was driving through an intersection and another car blew through a red light and hit him. Unfortunately, my truck was totaled. I was so upset because I loved that truck. I remember I got down to the sight of the scene and I saw the car and all I could say was my truck, my truck. The police officer saw me and was like, ma'am you know your husband is lucky to be alive. I was still just going on and on about my truck. That's how much I loved my truck.

Q: So you prefer trucks over cars?

A: Yes, I am just a truck person. I like sitting high up and I like the space. We went to a car dealership and my husband saw this car. He test drove it and convinced me that it was a great buy. If it was up to me I would've gotten another truck, but he was like, no, get this.

Q: What are some of the features you like about this car?

A: It goes really, really fast which is cool. You can switch from automatic to stick shift, which is nice. And it's spacious.

Q: What type of driver would you characterize yourself as?

A: I'm not aggressive. I'm just impatient. I get aggravated easily, so I honk, switch lanes, speed. The usual passive aggressive stuff.

Q: Do you rock out to crazy music when you're whizzing in and out of traffic?

A: Yes, I listen to a lot of music. Believe it or not, I listen to country music when there is a lot of traffic. It's calming. Any other time I listen to R & B and hip hop. That's really my kids' thing. They like listening to it, so I turn it on to keep them calm. I have a 12-year-old son, a six-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son.

Q: If your car had a theme song, what would it be?

A: It's a Ludacris song, I think, called "Move Get Out the Way" because I'm so impatient! I just want people to get out of my way so I can get to where I need to go in the shortest amount of time.
