Guide To: The Perfect Bachelor Party

You don't have to run off to Vegas to provide the perfect Bachelor Party for yet another one of the guys that's leaving your singles group. There are plenty of venues right here in Chicago to ensure that his official last night out is one he will never forget. I have gathered my best-informed single guys to give me a (tasteful) list of where they take their not-so-eligible bachelors.

Day Activities

Bachelor parties are all about gambling, whether it's over horses, a golf game or at his favorite casino. Below are Chicago males' favorite activities to partake in during the day, and the best place to win a few bucks before heading out on the town.

Arlington Park Race Tracks
And they're off! Whether you are looking to rent a box or just relax in the stands, Arlington Park Race Tracks is a great place to get together with the guys, grab a few beers and place a few bets. While I always bet on the horse with my favorite name, I'm assuming the bachelor will have a better strategy.

Rivers Casino
Opening in July of 2011, Rivers Casino will be the newest casino in the area. An easy Metra ride to Des Plaines will get you in the gambling mood, so craps tables, look out! The bachelors are on their way to make or break their banks.

Bolingbrook Golf Club
For the men who enjoy a relaxing day of golf, the Bolingbrook Golf Course is absolutely stunning. Play a round, be sure to designate a driver for the golf cart, and spend a relaxing afternoon with the guys. What's more fun than that?

Dinner

Frontier Lounge
Here you can call ahead and order an entire suckling pig, side of beef, or even a boar. I don't know what is more appropriate for a bachelor party. Sounds like a bachelor's dream meal and a bachelorette's nightmare.

Texas de Brazil
Brazilian Steakhouses are the best way for men to eat. Texas de Brazil has an endless high quality buffet, endless juicy Brazilian meats, and a Brazilian Papaya Cream dessert to settle the stomach to allow room for the after-party. Just be sure to come hungry!

Nightlife

Joe's Bar (aka Joe's on Weed)
It's cheap, it's big, and there are plenty of ladies around. Sit outside and watch a Cubs or Bears game with a cold beer in hand (yes, there are TVs outside), and then head inside for some great music and partying. For those of you who are celebrating from out of town, this is also a great tourist attraction.

Rockit Bar and Grill
This place has it all for a perfect bachelor party: A lounge area, great food and a floor dedicated to pool tables and darts. While it sounds like a group that attracts males only, the ladies are always flocking to this upscale bar and grill. The bonus is, you may even have a celebrity spotting while there.
