Coach Cal coming to Chicago?
John Calipari has tweeted a response to KC Johnson's recent Tribune article about the Bulls coaching search. The article, posted last night on the Tribune's website, claims that a "Calipari connection contacted the Bulls over the weekend." Calipari wouldn't refute that claim, instead he tweeted, "Now, do I have to respond to these rumors too?" It appears that Calipari may indeed need to "respond" to the rumors. His past history leaves many wondering whether he is 100% commited to Kentucky. In 2009, just days before accepting the head coaching position at Kentucky, Calipari told reporters, "[Memphis] is where I want to coach."
In addition, the reports of a LeBron James - Calipari package deal continue to arise.
