Favre has press conference, says its all about helping the team win

Brett Favre was back in practice for the Minnesota Vikings after another short lived retirement. After his first practice back there was a press conference so that Favre could address the media and many question regarding the motivation for his return after the first preseason game.

Favre said several times that he was only there to help the team win and that he wants to focus on the team and not himself. That kind of seems odd seeing as he basically forced three of the teams best players to miss training camp time in order to fly down to Mississippi to convince him to return.

That meeting took place after he had reportedly already texted several teammates telling them he wasn't returning. Over the past several weeks reports have been flying around some hinting towards a Favre return and others indicating that he would stay retired. But with it now official that Favre will be back playing for the Vikings the speculation can stop...at least until this time next year.
