Boozer Has Successful Surgery

Carlos Boozer underwent successful surgery today to repair his broken right hand, specifically the 5th metacarpal. The official word from the team is that Boozer is expected to miss eight weeks, starting tonight when the Bulls play the Milwaukee Bucks. Second year forward, Taj Gibson will start in Boozer's place.

Also not playing tonight is Ronnie Brewer, who has been hampered by a recurring hamstring injury. Brewer will be replaced by Keith Bogans and the expected starting lineup is Derrick Rose, Bogans, Luol Deng, Gibson and Joakim Noah.
