NAPERVILLE, Ill. (STMW) - A $1,000 reward is being offered for information on three people -- including a man dressed in women's clothing -- who stole a purse from a west suburban restaurant and went on a $10,000 shopping spree.

On Sunday, Oct. 10, the purse was taken from a downtown Naperville restaurant, according to a release from Naperville police. The thieves used credit cards in the purse to buy more than $10,000 worth of merchandise, including gift cards and electronics, at the Apple Store and Target in Naperville.

Police have surveillance photos of the three suspects. One is described as a Hispanic male about 40 with a mustache. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic woman about 40, 5-foot-7 with a medium build and brown hair. She was wearing a white jacket, blue jeans, and glasses on top of her head.

The third suspect is a white male, age unknown, about 6 feet with a large build. He was dressed as a woman, wearing a black shirt with a design on the front, blue jeans and glasses.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
