The Buffalo Grove village board last night chastised village president Elliott Hartstein for publicly mocking outgoing village trustee Lisa Stone earlier this month.

Hartstein had put on a black wig at a party and pretended to be Stone.

He put out an apology the next day, but Stone has seen it as political and not sincere.

The Buffalo Grove village board said Harstein tried to demean and show disrespect to Stone.

Hartstein says he was just trying to have fun and may also have been showing his frustration with Stone.
