(WSCR) - Taj Gibson was sidelined as the Bulls faced the Phoenix Suns. He injured his right ankle Monday.

PHOENIX (AP) Chicago forward Taj Gibson was sidelined Wednesday night for the Bulls’ game against the Phoenix Suns with a right ankle injury.

A Bulls spokesman said Gibson was injured Monday during a practice. However, he did play in Tuesday night’s 98-91 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and had 16 points, 12 rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals.

Gibson was replaced in the starting lineup by Ronnie Brewer.
