CHICAGO (CBS) — A man walking his dog discovered a dead woman’s body in an alley in Logan Square on Saturday.
The man was walking his dog in an alley in the 3100 block of West Homer Street when he found a woman’s body on the ground at about 7:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
The man called police and the unidentified woman, believed to be in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene, Perez said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the fatality but did not have her name Saturday afternoon.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating the death.
