(WSCR) – For the past nine years, the Chicago Bears have held their training camp on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University.
Today, the Bears and the University signed a two-year agreement to hold Bears training camp in Bourbonnais, Illinois, through 2012. The Bears also have an option to conduct camp at ONU in 2013.
The ONU campus, approximately 60 miles south of Chicago, provides the Bears with four practice fields, air-conditioned locker rooms and dining facility, a weight room, meeting rooms and dorms for players and staff and has enabled thousands of Bears fans to enjoy training camp practices for the past nine years.
Before ONU, the Bears’ training camp was held at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
