FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBS) – As the NFC North champion Bears prepare to take on the New York Jets at Soldier field Sunday, Jets coach Rex Ryan is trying overcome a strange scandal involving foot fetish videos.

On Wednesday, Ryan called the issue a “personal matter,” and declined to talk about the foot-fetish report posted by the sports website Deadspin that shows four videos of a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to Ryan’s wife, Michelle.

The videos show a woman displaying her toes to an off-screen cameraman who sounds a lot like the coach. The two are having an intimate chat about her feet. They were posted by someone using the handle “ihaveprettyfeet.”

Asked about the videos during a conference call Wednesday, Ryan said he is “not really going to discuss it.”

This is not the first time the Jets have turned up on Deadspin this season.

In October, the site reported that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre sent racy text messages and photos to a former game hostess while he was the Jets’ quarterback in 2008.

The NFL is still investigating the allegations.

This is funny.
But the Bret Farve issue is NOT. The NFL needs to make a decision NOW! Before the season is over. The man is a disgrace to football. And the commissioner’s office is full of “good ol’ boys.” They are disgraceful, chauvinistic non-leaders.

I would really like to know why this is news. Such a scandel! He finds his wife sexy! OMG, big freaking deal! Some men are butt men, some men are boob men, and this man happens to like his wife’s feet. It’s not funny. It’s two people who have found a way to find each other sexually appealing after all these years of marriage. For god’s sake, if you’re going to report on sports, report on THE SPORTS! I’m disappointed with sports journalism. Beyond disappointed… disgusted. Shame, shame on every media that has picked up this “story” and reported on it even once.

It’s a story because his team plays The Bears on Sunday.
It’s a story because it raises the question as to whether the Coach will be distracted as he prepares.
It’s a story because THEY posted all this stuff on YouTube.
They violated their own privacy, and he is a public figure.

Makes sense too because he is such a fat tub of goo that the last time anyone even saw his d!ck was a Doctor with forceps in 1998.
