Woman Jumps From Lakeview High-Rise, Dies
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman jumped to her death this week from the 33rd floor of her Lakeview neighborhood condo building.
Police received a call at 6:46 a.m. Tuesday that someone jumped from the 33rd floor at the building located at the Park Place Tower condo building, 655 W. Irving Park Rd, according to police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety.
Sandee Gilligan, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:46 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy Wednesday determined Gilligan died of multiple injuries from a fall from height and her death was ruled a suicide, according to the medical examiner's office.
