Bears Show Quick-Strike Offense
Sunday's win was impressive for several reasons. The most impressive, however, might have been the emergence of a quick-strike offense.
"I think when you look at how the Bears' offense was able to perform," Brad Biggs said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "I don't know if we knew they were capable of that. That was quick-strike, big-strike."

That type of offensive production was common in previous Mike Martz systems, and was something that Martz was expected to bring to Chicago.
"They talk about the explosive Mike Martz playbook," Biggs said. "And we'd never seen the explosive Mike Martz playbook, at least not called for the Bears, and it worked."
The Bears scored over 35 points for the second consecutive game, but the way they did it on Sunday was different than the way it happened against the Minnesota Vikings.
"When you talk about scoring four touchdowns from outside the redzone," Biggs said. "That's something they've been, basically, completely incapable of doing to this point this season. They've had two touchdowns from outside the redzone on the previous nine games."
