Bennett Sits Out Practice With Ankle Injury

Bears’ wide receiver Earl Bennett was held out of Thursday’s practice. Bennett re-aggravated a sprained ankle in the Bears’ 38-34 victory over the New York Jets.

Bennett’s ankle doesn’t appear to be a major issue, and Lovie Smith is hopeful that he’ll be able to participate in Friday’s practice.

Both Center Olin Kreutz and Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa had full participation after sitting out Wednesday’s practice.
