Rose: 'My Back Is Killing Me'
After winning their last three games, and six of their last seven, the Chicago Bulls will have three days off to rest and practice. And for Derrick Rose especially, the rest will go a long way.
"It feels great," Rose told reporters of having some time off. "My back is killing me right now. I get time to rest, get a lot of treatment and hopefully it'll heel by the time we play on Friday."
Rose never hinted that he was suffering from a serious back injury. And it's likely that he's just suffering from a little wear and tear. Rose ranks 10th in the league, averaging 38.0 minutes per game. And with Rose's aggressive, attack the rim style of play, those are a tough 38 minutes per game.
