Woman Found Dead With Head Trauma
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are investigating the death of a young woman found in the Roseland neighborhood Saturday night as a homicide.
The 20-year-old woman was found unresponsive at 437 W. 103rd St., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, which was not releasing her identity pending family notification.
Police found the woman at 7:03 p.m. with head trauma, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, citing preliminary information. She was pronounced dead at the Stein Institute at 11:35 p.m.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating the death as a homicide, police said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
