Fitzgerald: ‘I Was So Hurt By The Tommie Harris Release’

Arizona Cardinals’ receiver Larry Fitzgerald wasn’t surprised that the Chicago Bears cut defensive lineman Tommie Harris, but was disappointed.

“You guys just cut my boy,” Fitzgerald said on the Mully and Hanley Show. “I was so hurt by the Tommie Harris release, that hurt me. The injuries definitely did mount up a little bit, but I still think he has a lot of juice left in the tank. A change of scenery is sometimes the best thing. And let’s hope he can land on his feet, he’s a good man.”

Hey Fitz, Tommie did it to himself. What were the Bears supposed to do? They gave Tommie plenty of chances. He was either injured, or wasn’t trying. By cutting him, that frees up money to be spent else where on a player who is gonna wanna be a Bear.
