Ex-Bear QB Douglass Arrested For Trespassing

LAKE FOREST (CBS) -- On Wednesday, former Chicago Bears quarterback Bobby Douglass was arrested in Lake Forest and charged with felony criminal trespassing to a residence and criminal damage to property.

The 63-year old Douglass is accused of breaking into the home of an on-again, off-again girlfriend at about 9:30 p.m. Douglass allegedly went to talk to her, tried to force open the door of her residence and damaged the frame.

He appeared in court on Thursday morning and his bond was set at $10,000.

Douglass played for the Bears from 1969 to 1975 and threw for 4,932 yards, 30 touchdowns and 51 interceptions.
