The Blackhawks put up four goals in the second period and once again chased goalie Roberto Luongo from a game. Almost as important as finally getting to Luongo, was the fact the Blackhawks forced Vancouver to take penalties.
“The ‘Hawks need to play with the lead,” former Blackhawk and current analyst Eddie Olczyk said on the Danny Mac Show. “I think you really need to force the Vancouver Canucks to a little bit more aggressive and out of control, I think that’s just human nature.”

And that’s exactly what happened towards the end of Game 4, and has happened in previous matchups between these two team when the Blackhawks have been able to manufacture a lead.
“Because of what happened last night,” Olczyk said. “I think if the ‘Hawks can find a way to get a two-goal lead at some point, I think they have a heck of a shot to get it back here to Chicago for Sunday night, for Game 6.”
