Report: Danks' Brother May Join White Sox
CHICAGO (CBS) -- White Sox pitcher John Danks may soon be joined on the field by his brother.
The Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Times Leader reported this week that Danks' younger brother, Jordan Danks, might head to U.S. Cellular Field.
The 24-year-old is now an outfielder for the Charlotte Knights, the White Sox' Triple-A affiliate, and has raised his average from .203 to .229 since April, the Times Leader reported.
As for John Danks, he's been off to a rough start this season. Last week, his record bottomed out at 0-6, with a 4.50 earned run average and a 1.44 WHIP. Other than his rookie season in 2007, this has been his worst season in the majors.
