Teen Wounded In South Side Drive-By

CHICAGO (STMW) - A teenage boy was wounded in a Wednesday night drive-by shooting on the South Side.

The 17-year-old man was standing with friends in the 2000 block of East 93rd Street when a white Chevrolet Impala and black Nissan Maxima approached about 6:05 p.m., police said.

Shots were heard coming from one of the vehicles, and the boy realized he was shot, police said.

He was taken in good condition to Advocate Trinity Hospital with a graze wound to the right forearm, police said.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Wednesday night.
